🎅🏼 Holiday Market at Bard and Banker: The third annual sip and shop holiday market is back on Nov 13.

🎄 Festival of Trees at the Bay Centre: Coming back this year on Nov 15 in support of BC Children’s Hospital by showcasing beautifully decorated trees for all to enjoy over the holidays.

🏠 Home Alone in Concert: Enjoy the beloved comedy classic featuring renowned composer John Williams’ charming and delightful score performed live to picture by the Victoria Symphony at the Royal Theatre on Dec 21.

🩰 The Gift of the Nutcracker: Enjoy Tchaikovsky’s score performed by the Victoria Symphony and the Ballet Victoria. Let all the wonderful characters fill your soul with holiday whimsy and warmth from Dec 28-30. 

🍽 Culinaire: Vancouver Island’s finest food and beverage event will return to the Victoria Conference Centre on Feb 26, 2025.

Nomad Holiday Market | Sat & Sun | 10am-5pm and 11am-4pm

Head to Songhees Wellness Centre for a showcase of top-quality artists, beverage makers, apparel, potters, and creators of unique holiday gifts. You'll also find a colouring contest for kids of all ages, live music, delicious food, multiple door prizes, and more fun activities. [$5]

Winter Craft Market | Saturday | 10am-4pm

Visit the local market with 50 vendors featuring art, clothing, baked goods, jewelry, and more at 675 Jolly Place. [Free]

Wild Mushroom Dinner | Saturday | 6:30pm

Join chef Castro Boateng and team for a night featuring Vancouver Island’s most prized ingredient: wild mushrooms. Chef will share a five-course tasting menu with creativity, balance, texture, and bold flavour including chanterelles, pine mushroom, porcini and cauliflower mushrooms. [$120]

A parents night out at Odd Fellows Hall to gamble fake money, win real prizes, have a drink, and dance the night away to raise funds to support technology in schools. [$39]

Sidney Parade and Ceremony | Monday | 10:30am

Sidney’s parade will start at 10:30am at the Mary Winspear Centre, move to Beacon Avenue, Second Street, and conclude at the Cenotaph on Sidney Avenue. The ceremony will begin at 10:50am followed by a flyover during the two-minute silence at 11am. [Free]

Honour veterans at this ceremony on the Castle Terrace Lawn outside Hatley Castle, hosted by the Vancouver Island Ex-Cadet Club and CFB Esquimalt. [Free]

Oak Bay Ceremony | Monday | 10:55am

Head to the Oak Bay Cenotaph at Cattle Point for this annual ceremony or watch virtually from home.

Paint and Cider Night | Next Tuesday | 6pm

Unwind, sip, and paint on an unforgettable evening of art and cider with local artist Kelsie Gibson guiding you through the process. [$65]
